My son outgrew his Aristocrat, and it is so stained it is disgusting!! Seriously if I have another baby I'm going to have to dye it...brown LOL in order to not barf at using it.

I thought I was just lazy, because I only washed it every few weeks (or so..heh heh) just when it started to smell, and he wore it for a year and pooped in it etc etc.

So I got a beautiful new(ish, thanks Kermit!) Disana soaker and I am determined not to stain this bugger, but it is already starting to get stained and it's only been a couple of weeks!

I mean I thought the whole point (well one of them) of the wool was that you didn't have to wash it everyday! And he no longer poops at night, so this is pee staining it.

Sigh. Any suggestions? I squirted Bac-Out on it today, and then washed it in wool wash and then put lemon juice on the stain and put it in the sun. Hopefully that will do something.

Jenn and her yucky stained wool soakers...
I haven't tried sunning my crats, but I have sunned any of my other wool covers, and it usually takes a few treatments out there, but it does work!!
Good luck!
Debi

I would suggest rinsing it out w/ cool water after each use to help. The pee stains don't bother me too much on my Crats, since they just get used at night. You may just have to wash them more often if you don't want any stains.
