It's a bad time of the year too. The shorter days don't help anyone's disposition.


If you aren't exercising, try to fit in some cardio every week. I aim for three to four times a week of a minimum of 30 minutes. I am really amazed by how much this helps. If I start to feel that familiar "creep" I usually notice that I haven't been working out as much. Once I start again I'm much better. It may not be great advice for someone who is in the midst of a major depression, but for those of us dealing with a more mild case that comes and goes, it may be a good first step.
