I am gettin sooooo frustrated. I am trying to start buying some things for my diaper web-site, but the minimum orders required by some of the vendors is ridiculous. Snappis....a minimum of 6 DOZEN? Bumkins I think was $500, Diaperaps.....$250.

Now, I know that I have seen new sites start up and they do not have 6 DOZEN snappis or $500 in Bumkins products. So, how do you get around this?

Maybe they get them in a co-op or with another momma that runs the same type of business and they split the cost? I sell a totally different product than you, but I offered pre-orders for WAHM's to get my product at a discounted price for ordering before it was ordered IYKWIM.

Also, FWIW, it is REALLY easy to come up with a $250 or $500 minimum once you figure out what you want to carry and in what quantities you want to stock. If you haven't already, do an Excel spread sheet of everything you want to carry and what your initial orders will be. You'll then realize you have to cut back on some, not carry others, etc.

I hear you! I need to order some more prefolds but haven't, and the min. for them isn't even high, lol, I'm just low on cash.

It's also why I haven't orderd Bumkins yet.

I agree with splitting the min. with another wahm, it's the only way to get around it
