I was just wondering how everyone organizes their diaper stash? Now that I'm CDing two I just can't figure out where to put all the stuff! Harrison and Isabella share a room - or should I say their STUFF shares a room, so space is at a premium.
I have a hand-me-down changing table and fabric-lined baskets that I got 40% off at Michael's so I could get organized, but it just doesn't work!
I have so many diapers and covers in different sizes - and since Harrison is almost two his stuff is pretty big. It just seems like some of my stash goes unused because it creeps under something else and I forget about it.

So how are y'all organized?

I use to try to be organized and gave up.I have a dirty pail in laundry room and a laundry basket of clean dry dipes that floats around from room to room. Most of my covers end up staying on the drying rack in laundry room till I go in search of a new one....LOL
guess I am no help.

I use a 3 drawer dresser as my changing table. I keep my dipes, covers, and wipes in the top drawer. I keep onesies, t-shirts, and socks in the next drawer, and blankets, towels, and dipes that are too big in the bottom drawer. I have a basket on a bench next to the dresser where I keep snappis, fleece liners, and diaper ointment. Then, I have a strip of aluminum foil covering the windowsill next to the dresser. That's where I keep the spray bottle to spray the wipes, and it's also where I put dirty dipes while I finish changing ds. Then they go into the pail which is next to the dresser.
Why do my posts always end up being so long?!

We have a bookshelf in Spike's room near the floorspace where we change him. On one shelf I keep the folded CPFs -- the infants on one side, the hemp prefolds in the center and the premium regular CPFs on the far end. On the shelf right below it I keep the daytime covers in one basket and the nighttime covers in another. On the very bottom shelf in a basket are the two SugarPeas we own.

Nothing fancy, but it works for us for now.

My dh's grandma bought us a pack-n-play that we use as a changing table, so the prefolds are stacked in there. I have an over-the-door shoe holder that has about 20 pockets. I labeled the pockets with dds' names and the cover type inside. Ex: MaryRose Fuzzi Bunz.

This helps dh know which cover is which.

I have a changing pad ontop of dd's dresser, so I had to buy a 3 drawer cart from target to put her CPFs into. The first 2 drawers hold her prefolds and the bottom drawer holds extra snappis, 5 AIOs, and 10 covers. It is jammed tight - and I just order another dozen prefolds this morning. Where will I put them : ??

I also have the 3-drawer cart from Target! :LOL
I took the wheels off mine and sat it on top of a small end table beside the changing table.
It works great!
I keep diapers & covers in the top 2 drawers and the bottom drawer holds supplies such as extra wipes, lotions, rash creams, etc.
All extra dipes that aren't used that often are stored in the bottom dresser drawer.

I keep a basket always stocked of diapers, wipes and covers in the living room for changes whereever we need one, and then in the kid's room I have a drawer in DS' dresser with his covers and doublers, and then in the closet I have the AIOs and fitteds and CPFs in stacks on the top shelf. It works great. When both kids were still in diapers I kep all of it in one wicker basket on the floor in their room. When I wash things I make sure they are put back on the bottom of the stack so that everything gets used on a rotating basis.

We have a 2 story house with kids bedrooms upstairs, so our changing area is downstairs in the master bathroom. I didn't want it to look cluttery, so I bought this from The Container Store:

http://www.thecontainerstore.com/bro...6203&CATID=166

It sits on the counter top (stacked 3 high) and holds the Liz's Cloth fitteds on 2 1/2 shelves, and the covers go on half of a bin, on top. It's really easy to hang wool covers off the edges to dry too.

I also have two rubbermaid bins underneath the sink to hold the not-as-cute extra stuff like CPFs, emergency disposables, etc.

Mine is similar to this - except the diapers, covers and wipes go directly from the laundry basket to the pnp basket. We're very low maintenance here.

I like to keep mine organized so I keep mine in the linen closet I have two cupboards the towels on the bottom and the diapers on the top. I have it on three shelves, fitteds on the first, prefolds on the second and covers on the third. It works great for us. When everything is messed up in the world at least my diapers are neat and orderly.

WELL ... I have the soon to be baby's in the top dresser drawer and I have Coltons in the door area (we have a dresser with 3 large drawers on the left and a door and a small drawer over it on the right). THe changine table is on the top of the 3 drawers. I also have a bookcase in the room with all the stash (mediums) i have made up for the new baby until i can rotate the NB and small dipes out. It is easy to stay organized now because I am only dealing with 1 child (2 years old) i am sure when the new one comes my system will be out of the laundry basket until things calm down .......

I too use a 3 drawer cart but mine is from Walmart. It is like 2-3feet wide- holds my 28 lukes drawers Candy wrappers in the top 2 drawers and the bottom drawer hold my 8 lukes drawers cotton candies and covers for night time. It works GREAT!

LOL here's an idea - a diaper stacker. I've had one hanging in my closet being unused band I always thought it was for disposables. Then I realized it would hold a nice big stack of my diapers so I hung it up last week and it's working out great!

My dd has never ever slept in her crib so we use that as our diaper organizer!

Hey Mia! Glad you came over here!

I organize in fabric lined baskets like you are talking about. AIOs in one, CPFs in the other, etc, etc. I would give them seperate "areas" for dipes.
