I listen to Pandora all the time while I am doing homework. Usually it is in a window that I don't keep open. This afternoon it was playing an artist that I really dislike so I went to skip it. There was a picture of a friend of mine from Facebook. And it is now happening with each song.

Are they linked with FB somehow? I've never linked any thing from FB to Pandora or vice versa. It is creepy that Pandora somehow knows who my FB friends are...

Psychic radio powers.

Do you put in your email address w/ Pandora? DH does the logging in on our computer, so I have never actually signed up. My guess is that it could somehow pull your friends via email.

You need to go into your FB account and look through the privacy section. Every time they update the site they change your privacy sections. Read each line carefully and check the appropriate box to tighten your privacy.

You can definitely keep your FB stuff off the web, you just have to make sure your settings are how you want them to be.

I always update the privacy things and I keep it super private.

The links posted by Breathless Wonder explain that FB had a bug that connected it without your knowledge if you had it open while you visited another site. Very irritating. I specifically do NOT link or connect anything. Guess I need to be even more careful about how and when I open stuff.
