How easy is it to add fabric to a felted bag?

I've backed a blanket with fleece and it was fairly easy...but this satchel would require turning it inside out nad then it might be a challenge to machine sew all the seams. But you could defiitely add fabric and just sew around the lip/top of the bag. That sounds like a very cool bag idea!!!! Good luck

I think it all depends on your sewing skills. I've only lined one felted bag, as I'm a better knitter than I am seamstress. So it was a total PIA to get that lining in right. Making the lining itself was my problem, as I suck at measuring. If you only sew around the top edge (make the lining, hten sew to the bag) it's not that hard...but I have a problem making them fit right...

I don't think it'd be hard at all, but I am much better sewer than knitter. I'd sew it in by hand after making the lining on the machine.
