and can you get it treated without getting in the stirrups? I have a absolute fear of getting in the stirrups due to some really bad pelvic exams in the past and they hurt like I've had a little problem off and on that seems to clear up on its own but right now its driving me insane. I have seriously intense vagional itching and noticed yellowish and greenish discharge on my panties which I've seen before when things got really itchy and things don't smell to great either. I googled it and the thing that keeps coming up is Trichomonas. ok... ummm.. I'm not sexually active, haven't been in a really long time and I've been tested for STD's at least 6 months past the last time I did anything. So how the could I have gotten this and do I have to get in the stirrups to treat it?? Is there anything natural I can do? Would this be something that would have been tested for on regular STD testing? I'm assuming it is and can not figure out how I got this unless I've had it for a couple years and they've never tested for it.

Sounds like a bad yeast or bacterial vaginosis. Have you tried treating it with the 7 day otc cream?? if it is bacterial you would prolly need to have a swab done to check and see. I am sorry you have had bad experiances in the past,.

Thrichomonias can be non symptomatic for years before it shows up. Sorry you're going through it. It sucks! Luckily the abx for it is a one doser - but pretty potent. I would recommend taking care of it asap, because uhhh, the sypmtoms are just going to keep getting worse...and it can get pretty fugly.

This is one of the STDs that can also be passed non sexually, although its rare. They are actually little protozoans, rather than bacteria, and can be passed through hot tubs, baths, ect.
