I have a milk blister that didn't clear out for 2 days now. I tried removing it with a fingernail without sucess. I am afraid to use a needle not to get any infection.<br><br>
How long is it ok to have it to before I start worrying on getting mastitis?<br>
Is it safe to use a needle to remove it if I sanitize it by boiling 10 minutes?

Is it getting a red ring around it? My milk blisters have always come off with nursing. If it doesn't look infected I would leave it alone.
