I was thinking about stocking up from my local coop.

Also does it need to be kept in special containers?

I've tried to find the answer to this with a google search, but the info I found is a little conflicting.

One site said that it would go rancid after about 2 months in the freezer, another said that it was still good over 1 year later.

Anyone have any experience freezing raw butter that they wouldn't mind sharing?
