After everything is cut out. I am going to make a HoneyBoys diaper. I have 36 cut out already. How long do you think it will take me. I've never sewed a diaper before. Will it be hard or easy?

omg! i can't believe you've cut out that many! lol you must be more obsessive than i am! my first couple of dipes took me around three hours to make. now i am at around an hour. but if you do them in batches of four or six or so, i wouldn't be surprised if you get it down below that.

will they all have windpro outers?

Well, if you count all the time I spent thinking about what I should do before I finally did it, then it took weeks! :LOL

The first couple might take an hour or two & then you'll get faster from there. It all depends on whether you are trying to be speedy, or enjoy taking your time. I'll bet that your assembly line will really help. Best wishes!!!

Oh wow, go you! The honeyboy diape was one that took me the longest what with those tabs and my perfectionist nature. But I'd say since you have the hardest part done (the cutting) after your first few and you get the hang of it, you can probably count on each diaper taking about a half an hour or so. Maybe longer since you say you haven't sewn dipes before.

Well my first took 4 hours..

Now that I've done about 50 they average around 90 minutes to two hours. I don't know what I do that's different from everyone else or if I'm slow but I make mistakes on almost every diaper and have to undo them. So I usually bank on about two hours per diaper.

Well I have made a lot of diapers, and I still say about an hour, maybe more for a beginner. It just takes time for all the details and to get it right you can't take shortcuts. IMHO
