I'm just curious! At 12 1/2 months, my LO still prefers the sink, or lately outside, which is nice. She never has liked the potty by the bed, and I don't think she's ever gone in her potty when it's been on the floor. She always goes in the sink or in the potty by the sink.

Does this mean I will have to hold her over the sink when she goes off to college? Just kidding, I just had to say that, though! Since of course she is never going to learn to walk since I carry her all the time. (Oh, except she did learn to walk!)

How does the transition go when they still like the sink at this age?

Anyhow, the sink thing was pretty much over at home at around 15-16 months.
But she occasionnally wanted to use other sinks until about 25 months. Done now though :)

BBLP/Ikea potty on the floor or on the bathrrom counter, "her" dedicated planter on the front deck
(we held her), and the big toilet with a trainer seat. Now it is pretty much always the big toilet at home, BBLP in the car and an Ikea potty at Daycare

For the BBLP, I have to say she was used to it, beacuse we had it on the bathroom counter for a very long time, and she was using it in alternation with the sink.

We were done with the sink with both kids around 6-9 months. We use a potty topper thing for the toilet, do in arms over the toilet, or I sit on the toilet with babe between my legs now.
