<p>I made some raw milk cheese last weekend, and kept the whey.  how long will it last in my fridge? </p>

<p>You can always freeze it if you think it'll be a while before you use it. I'm not sure about the effect of freezing on the remaining proteins and such; if you were planning to make <a href="http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2010/07/how-to-make-whey-ricotta.html" target="_blank">whey ricotta</a> out of it then maybe you should just stick it in the fridge. If you were planning to cook rice/beans/etc with it then I think you'd be in the clear to freeze it.</p>
