How many days before your period due date did you test positive? I am due around the 20th and am testing -ve. I want to know if I am crazy! I know I should wait until after I am due to test again.<br>

I think mine was 5 days or so before I was due. Now I can't remember it seemed like it was really early.

I was 2 days late this time, when I finally decided to test, lol. With ds I think I was almost a week early, but it came up fast!

I have never had an early positive.<br><br>
My earliest positive was at 14DPO (days post ovulation) which was the day my period was due, with this baby and my baby I m/c in March. With DD...I tested positive at 15DPO (the day I expected my period).<br><br>
So..to answer your question..lol....I finally tested positive the day I expected my period to show! So now I am 2 days "late".

I tested the day before and got a pos on a blue dye test...but apparently those aren't accurate so I tested again on the day I was supposed to start...and got my pos.<br><br>
With DS I tested the day I was supposed to start and came up pos too...

Six days before. I'm one of those people who gets crazy early positives. It's been that way for each pregnancy. I don't actually believe it's true until the period date passes by.

I just wanted to say that I got an early pos last time and I deliver my babies 2-3 weeks early. Hoping this one goes late though! As far past christmas as possible!

I tested two days ahead and got a -. Then one day late and got a very faint +. With my son, I got a faint + two days late. So I guess I tend to be a late implanter or something.

I didn't get a positive until the day of my missed period - and even then, it was faint.

I must be the same way. I've had 3 pregnancies...and the earliest I've got a positive has been 14dpo which as been the day my period was expected to show. And I test starting at 9dpo...so that is a while lotta negatives! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
I really really should just never take early tests anymore. I had myself so convinced I wasn't pregnant each time that I have actually been pregnant. I have longer LPs 15-16 days. I tested positive 11dpo but neg the day before that. I was surprised to get something so early, but my blood test less than an hour later showed a hcg level of 51! Kinda surprised I didn't see something the day before, both test were FRER.

I've never gotten an early positive. This one was 2 days after it was due.

I don't think I've ever gotten an early positive, either. This one was the day my period was due, and that was one faint line.

i tested 3 days before period & got positive. didn't do it earlier than that. 2 diff types of tests showed up positive.<br><br>
w/ DS #1 I think i tested positive day of missed period.

Unfortunately, I was induced at 39 weeks due to high blood pressure which I'm now convinced was white coat syndrome. So, we shall see. My first pregnancy ended in m/c.<br><br>
I was convinced that I must have ovulated super early this time. I felt pregnant for days before I tested. March was a 26 day cycle out of the blue, so I thought maybe April was wonky too. But, my ultra sound showed a baby measuring exactly at 6 weeks 1 day, right where it should be for a normal cycle.<br><br>
I think I just make lots of hormones or something. When I was trying to conceive DS I would get positive ovulation tests for five days in a row sometimes. That's when I started charting.

for me I typically get a pos at 13 to 14dpo. This time at 11 dpo i had a very faint line that showed up around 8 min and could only be seen when the test was taken apart and held up to the light<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"> then 12 dpo the same type of line but it showed up at about 4 min. at 13 dpo i had a faint line within the 3 min. mark and i didn't have to take the test apart to see it. by 14 dpo just a regular old line. That is typical for all of my pregnancies except for my first m/c where I tested pos at home at 14 days but couldn't get a pos test at a clinic until close to 20 days. I don't know if that had anything to do w/ anything as I had another m/c immediately following that pg and it followed my regular patterns.
