My 3 1/2 yr old dd started running a fever Tuesday night, and it's been pretty high since then. I don't have a terribly accurate thermometer, but it was around 103 when I took it today, and I know, just by feeling her, that it's higher at night. She doesn't have a lot of other cold like symptoms, although she and her sister both have pink eye, and she's tired, cranky, and pretty listless. I have been trying to hold off on fever reducers because I want the fever to do its job, although I have given her some Tylenol the past two nights because she hasn't been able to get into a deep sleep- she wakes herself up crying and thrashing, etc.

I'm not terribly concerned, but I also have never had a fever last this long before. Any ideas?
