I'm a little confused about this whole eating solids thing! Breastfeeding is just soooo easy!
Anyways, LO is 6.5 months, and for the last 2 weeks or so (maybe more like 10 days) I've been sitting her in her chair every morning and offering her some sort of food (so far, mashed-up apples or avocadoes, and rice cereal). I can't really say she's "eating", she'll swallow maybe a teaspoon (and honestly, I think that's generous) but she's really into playing with it though.

My question is, should I offer more that once a day? If not right now, when? I completetly get that breastmilk will be her main source of nutrients untill 12 months or so, and that right now we are really doing just an introduction to other foods, but I'm curious to know how often, or long, does it take for her to get that what I'm offering her is actually food?
