I washed and dried my IPFs at least 5x before we used them. They aren't duds just need a bit more washing to soften them up and increase absorbancy.

How many times to wash new dipes?
I have made the leap from a diaper service to cloth diapering on my own. Yay! I purchased Indian prefolds from Whole Family Market:

I washed them three times before using them and they are NOT as absorbent as I thought they'd be. How many times should they be washed before they become reliable? And I suppose I'm asking this a little too late but... has anyone used this brand of cloth diaper, and have you been happy with them? I feel like I just spent a chunk of dough on dud diapers!
Any help would be so appreciated... thanks.
