I'd love some advice here. Sophie will be 6 mos on 7/6 and is definitely showing signs of readiness for solids (has had 2 teeth for awhile, very interested in what we are eating, good tongue control etc.) and we'd like to start giving her something in addition to all the breastmilk she has been chugging down.

Here's my question: We're going to be moving in a few weeks, so things will be a bit chaotic. If anyone has suggestions about whether it matters what else is going on in life when you make this switch in diet, I'd welcome your thoughts. I've heard (and it makes sense) that limiting the number of transitions is a good idea, but I guess I thought that might have had more to do with sleeping than eating. Thoughts? Thanks!
