How much Charlie's do I use?

My Charlie's Soap just arrived and I'm wondering how much to use on a load of pocket diapers and inserts. Do you use 1 Tablespoon like the package says, or reduce the amount?

Do you have the powder or liquid?

I use one scoop of the powdered Charlies. I do an extra rinse, as well.

Powder. By one scoop, do you mean a tablespoon or something else? I just got the smallest size bag, which comes with no measuring device.

I bought the 80 load bag and at first I thought there wasn't a scoop, but it was just buried. Its a one tablespoon scoop. I use one teaspoon in my FLer.

: You should find a little green scoop if you dig around!
I use one level scoop and like someone else said, I do an extra rinse, as well.

I use 1/2 tablespoon on a medium load of 20 pockets and inserts. My small bag of powdered has lasted for months!
Yep, we use one scoop (tablespoon) too...a little less for small loads and sometimes a bit more for big loads. We now use Charlie's for all of our laundry and have been very happy with it!
It should depend on whether you have a top loader or front loader. I have a FL which uses very little water, so I usually use 1/2 or 2/3 of a scoop -- it should be included in the smallest size bag, too, as that is what I buy. When I've had to wash dipes on vacation and only used top loaders, I always used one full scoop, even if washing on "small load" setting because even a small load setting had more than double the amount of water used by my FL at its maximum load. And Charlie's is very low on sudz; it says an entire scoop is supposed to dissolve in 1C water. Even then, I always do an extra rinse on my dipes, no mater what machine I use.
