We pay about $40/month...it hasn't really changed since we started washing dipes. Is this high? Low? Average? Anyone willing to share?

We pay about $40 a month too. I think that's pretty good for a family of 6!

To me $40 seems high, but then again we are probably on the low end of things. We only pay for the electricity to run our water pump. We have a well and have to haul water if the well runs dry. It costs about $5 to haul a load of water if our well runs dry. I haven't noticed a change in our elec. bill since I started cd'ing.

It's FREE!!! We have a well.
It would really suck if we were in a drought

We pay about 20$ a month, but my kids don't always flush when they are supposed to.
When we water the lawn, it goes up.

Is that for JUST water? I am not sure what our cost for only water is as we are billed for water/sewer/garbage/recycling all in one bill. Its about $65 a month and hasnt gone up since Maxi was born and we started CDing.

Though it goes up a bit in summer due to the increase in watering the yard and lawn.

I think $40 is good for water -- if its for the other stuff to its REALLY good!
We pay about $45. A little high I guess, but I think it is just more expensive where we live.
I pay about $24 a month and it hasn't changed with the addition of another cd baby to the house even though I do diapers a little more frequently.
Oh, yeah, I should mention our $50 is sewer/recycling/garbage/water.
Mine is 70$ Water is known for being really high in our town. It has not went up much since we started washing diapers. We did though buy a Whirlpool duet at the same time and they are supposed to save water, or so they say.
I pass most of the blame to my husband for the high bill. If I showed you his set up in the bathroom you would consider him very insane. He somehow has it so he can sit in the bathtub and watch tv while he takes.......BUBBLE BATHS!!!!! Yes, a man who takes BUBBLEBATHS! I am not meaning like once a month, but nearly EVERY night. He fills up the tub all the way and it is a HUGE tub(you could fit three adults in it) and sits there for two hours, of course warming up his bathwater every 10 mins like a giant cup of coffee.

I feel this is not normal. Anyone else?
Our last water bill was $43 but we are only billed every 3 months, so that is 3 months worth of a bill. Usually it runs about $50-$60 depending? so I guess that is about $15-$20 a month? That is just water and sewer.
We live in apartments that pay for water/trash. So, I have no idea how much ours is!
$35 a month for water/sewage/garbage. It has not changed for us since we started cd either.

I'm on a well also so we just pay for the electricity to run the pump. I have seen an increase in our bill, but I'm pretty sure that is more from running the dryer during the winter rather than running the pump. Once the weather got warmer and I started hanging everything outside, the bill went down. Then it got hot and I had to start using the air conditioner and it went back up again

well. we live in florida and have to water to keep our grass green, so our water bill is much higher than any of yours stated so far. ours is usually around $80 a month from nov to mar when we don't water, and almost always above 150 a month when we do water, so mar to nov. water in florida is really expensive, so is electricity.

when we lived in delaware we paid every three months and our bill was usually around 50.00 or so.
