I mean "fruity" fruit, sweet fruits, not like squash and avocados.

I am a fruit bat. Honestly, in the last few years, I've begun to actively limit myself because I know the high level of sugars (albeit natural) aren't the best for me. I try to keep it down to two or three servings a day, in addition to a metric ton of veggies. But in the summer, fruit is all I crave. I could go nuts on berries and peaches and tropical fruits. In college, I did. When I worked at an amusement park and was out in the sun on blacktop all stinkin' day, I was an utter frubivore.

So, how much fruit do *you* eat daily? If you don't mind giving a general synopsis of your diet otherwise, like vegetarian, raw, TF, conventional "health food", standard American, etc. that could also be informative

We eat mostly whole foods. During the summer, I could easily (and happily) live on fruit and green salads with the occasional meat meal tossed in. The last few weeks, since fresh fruit started becoming available, I'm eating it more than anything else. We went shopping this weekend for the week and all I bought was fruit and milk.

Before I was concerned about the sugar intake I could easily eat 3-4 pounds of various fruit a day : I still eat fruit, just not as much. About 1 to 3 fruits a day.

Oh, my general diet... I try to stay with organic, raw everything but meat, lately eat more protein and watch my carbs.

I eat up to 3-4 servings a day. I eat mostly low glycemic fruits (berries, young coconut, etc) because of my potential for insulin resistance. I wish I can eat an unlimited number.

Lately my diet has been 90% raw with a very small number of steamed or poached seafood. Like 1-2 oz of fish. Generally I am dairy, soy and gluten-free.

I'm like the other posters, could eat fruit all day, but I limit myself to three or four pieces a day. Oh, man, except for when we have berries, I just can't limit myself. They're so freaking expensive, though, that the budget kind of limits for me. My kids eat a ton of fruit as well, much more than I do. Oh, we're GF and vegetarian.

I have always said that if I had unlimited money, the main area where I would spend more would be on fruit.

There are some fruits that are less "sugary" than others. For instance, I was advised to eat grapefruits instead of oranges, and granny smith apples instead of sweeter apples.
