Hey ladies,

I didn't know if I should ask here or in the toddler section... My 25m old doesn't eat much at all, and he's still nursing, probably 6 times per day. I do worry he's not eating enough and he's very skinny and active, developing just fine, seems satisfied. It's almost like he is too busy to eat, but when he does slow down he gobbles up a bunch of food.

So today he's had a bowl of shredded wheat with milk. an apple, three piece of cheddar cheese, half a bagel with cream cheese....and about 4oz of apple juice. He'll have some kind of veggie with dinner probably...

I've tried giving him carrots with ranch and he just eats the ranch. I try giving him quesadillas with sour cream and he just eats the sour cream. If I give him these things without the dip, he won't eat them either. I have starting making my own whole wheat pizza crust and making cheese pizza for him, since he loves it and I think it's pretty healthy if made healthy kwim? Whole grains, tomatoes, and cheese...

Anyway, any advice? Should I worry?

Thanks!

He's eaten more than my 25 months old non-breastfed boy has today!
I've heard that you shouldn't go by what they eat daily at this age, but what they eat over a 2 week period. There are days they don't eat as much and then others where they seem to have a hollow leg. He sounds like he's doing pretty good considering he's also breastfeeding.
