with preg. #1 i remember just starting to show at some point. i know it was around week 14 or so because it's our custom not to announce the pregnancy before the end of the 4th month and it was getting very difficult and people were talking.

this time i'm at 16 weeks, haven't told anyone (except dh and a couple close friends), and don't really even think i'm showing. i'm just super duper thick around the waist (or actually, i have no waist anymore.) i knew this time would be easier to hide b/c i didn't lose all the weight or tone up but yikes.....i don't know how much thicker i can get without actually having a bump. i am really not liking the way my body looks right now. i just feel so apple shaped!

I can totally relate. No waist here, either, but no cute little bump. Most people probably think I just really overdid it on Thanksgiving :(

Same here...and I thought I had a little bump going on...no such luck it was just first trimester bloatSo now it's gone...and I just look fat again.

I was so hoping I would show earlier this time as I'm flying this weekend and wanted to actually look 17 weeks pregnant for sympathy since I'll be flying by myself with my 20 month old But as for me, I usually don't get a bump going until after 20 weeks...guess it's still proving true even with my 4th pregnancy.

I swear, over a 48 hour period, my stomach doubled in size. Unfortunately, I only look pregnant in my underwear, and this doesn't help me at all on my morning train commute as I try to find a seat. The 48 hour stomach size increase also caused a lot of very sore stomach muscles that are not at ALL happy with me... fun times!

I'm now at the point where, as others have said of themselves, I look like I over-indulged at thanksgiving. Still, I'm 19 weeks - I keep thinking back to those movies where women are instantly obviously pregnant, and go "nope! clearly not!" - it makes me want to go through a whole pile of pregnancy movies and create a movie pregnancy timeline... (then again, I also clearly remember Glee's depiction of birth at the end of last season and laughing...)

same here! except i also seem to be packing quite a lot of extra junk in my trunk and thighs. i can't wait to finally pop out, except i need to come to terms with the fact that i'm not going to be one of those adorable pregnant ladies with the normal body except for the big belly and boobs. oh well. at least DH still finds me attractive even if i don't.
