I was thinking of trying to make my own wipes but since I am not usually that handy with a sewing machine I was wondering if someone who has made their own before could tell me how much material I would need and how many wipes of would get from it. I am also looking for places that might carry Organic Velour but when I googled it I couldn't find any. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks!
It depends on how big you like your wipes. I recall getting 8 good sized (gonna guess 8x8) two-ply wipes out of a yard. www.thefabricfarm.com and www.diaperfabric.com may be good places to look, not sure if they carry organic or not
One yard makes a little over a dozen wipes (8x8) Remember when ordering that material does shrink when it's washed. This is if you are doing single ply.
