And how long before I see results. Yesterday I noticed my almost 2 year old had a goopy eye- by evening I could tell it was full blown "conjuctivitis" I've been trying to squirt breastmilk in it- since I have read that may help without having to do the antibiotic drops. This is a little difficult with a squirming giggly toddler- (you want to put it where??? but it belongs in my mouth, silly mommy!) and not to mention my supply is not what it was when he was an infant.
Anyway- have any of you successfully treated an eye infection this way? How often did you put the breastmilk in? How soon did you see results? How long should I wait until breaking down and getting the eye drops?
