My 11 month old ds used to have a bm about every day (sometimes more frequently). He has only recently started liking solid foods, and he still doesn't eat much (maybe about a fourth of a cup every day). For the past few weeks, he's only had a bm every 3 or 4 days. And now he hasn't had a bm for five days. At what point should I worry? He doesn't seem to be in much distress (maybe a little fussier than usual, but he doesn't seem to be in a lot of pain). I've been trying to nurse him as much as possible, but he isn't one to nurse if he doesn't want to. He's had plenty of wet diapers. What's normal at this age? Thanks so much!

ds is pretty much EBF and 10mths old, and only has a bm every 3-7 days. As long as the bm's hes having are still normal looking, sometimes peanutbutter once you start solids (and funky colors
) then your fine, If it starts to be little rabbit pellets or he is in obvious pain and his tummy is disdended then thats when you worry.

My DS will be 11mo on the 21st, he also has just started out on more solids, about the same as yours and not always everyday, he varies in his poops lately, sometimes,1,2, or 3 a day, sometimes none. I would not worry unless he is really straining to poop and seems in pain.
