i spray any poo off asap. Otherwise they're washed/lanoilized every 2 wks. my kids are supersoakers though...and the lanolin keeps their legs sooooo soft.lol

Thats one of the best things about wool - less wash

But, alas, if a cover gets stained it does need to be washed ASAP.

Maybe I am washing my wool too often - I tend to do it every week or two. Just smells fresher to me. Plus, the covers tend to get stretched out and washing helps reshape them. I guess it is all personal preference.

I wash them if the get poop on them, but otherwise, I only wash every month or so. Or whenever they get dirty from outside.
