I am 16 weeks and 2 days today. I swear I am feeling the baby move. It almost feels like a throbbing in my lower abdomen every so often and then like a strange feeling I never felt before. Is it too early for a first time pregnancy to feel it this early though? If it's not that then what on Earth is it?

I felt it when I KNEW it was the baby at 19 weeks with my ds (1st pregnancy) They say the second time around you can feel it around 16 weeks because you know what it feels like. Maybe you are feeling the baby? Its so cool!

I'm 15 weeks and just started to feel this faint fluttering. It's hard to be sure it's not gas though, because I always have gas too (the miracle of life). But it feels different.

I can't be sure if it's baby. But at 16 weeks, it's definitely possible.

Nope, not too early!

I felt this little one move at 13 weeks, no question about it!

And, now I'm 20 weeks, I feel her a lot, and more, but stronger, and not so much a vibration or flutter, but more like kicks.

With my first pregnancy I didn't feel the baby move until after 20 weeks (I had an anterior placenta).
This baby I felt at 14 weeks and it's been WAY more active.

With my first pregnancy I felt movement at 17 weeks. With this one I started to feel them at 13wks6days. I would not think that throbbing that early would be baby movement. It is more like flutters or bubbles.

First pregnancies the average is 20-22wks and second pregnancies average around 16 wks.

felt definate movement at 12 weeks when uterus was still right under the pubic bone and the NOTHING for 9 weeks until I hit 21 weeks. Finally at 22 weeks it's consistent. It was a frustrating wait from 12 to 21 weeks with unneeded stress thrown in too.

Totally not too early! I can't remember when with my first but this time around it started at 13wks and my hubby felt it at 15wks. I am now 20 wks and can feel the little bean even when I am running around the house chasing a 2yr old not just sitting quietly in bed. SOOO cool

This is my first pregnany, and i felt him move at about 14 and a half weeks, but he is a wriggler. I think it depends on how you are built, i have a small waist, but not much muscle so maybe thats why?

With #1 20 weeks, #2 16-ish weeks, this one #3 started feeling bubbles and flutters at around 12 weeks. It has increased in frequency since then and now is becoming more thumps and bumps and just this week am feeling feet and elbows graise the organs under my ribs. One actually hurt last night after dinner. I knew it was the baby b/c I have never had that happen other then when pg. I have a hunch I may be carrying twins though....I can't shake the thought b/c I feel flutters down and then kicks up and there is no way the baby is that big yet. It very well could be an acrobat though! This is totally my fav. part of being pg and the hiccups. I do admit though sometimes those little feet hurt!!!!!
