I thought I was getting more energy back last week...well I am feeling more energized on the whole, but this week I am back to practically passing out after I eat lunch. The last 2 days it has been awful. I eat a pretty healthy lunch and then about half an hour later just about pass out on the couch, for 2 hours. I am in and out of it as my 2 little ones a running around (in a safe gated enviroment) but still it is hard. Anyone else like this or know why this happens to me? If I go out one day, it takes me the entire next day to recouperate from it. I know this is only temporary, but it sucks sometimes.

I'm the opposite. I have insomnia and I can't sleep at night. In the beginning I was so exhausted but now I'm the opposite.

I have no idea. I'm still passing out for a nap every day and still tired. *yawn*

Did you ask your birth assistant? I know some women were better after they found out they were anemic/low on Vit. B or D.

I don't go to the dr. for 3 more weeks and do go for my sono in 2, but I guess I should call and mention it. That is a good thought about anemia or vit. b. I have never had a problem with either, but they do both run on my dad's side of the family.

I still get pretty tired. I go through spurts of being energized, but I welcome a daily nap. They say you're supposed to get energy back during 2nd tri, but you're body still has a lot going on.

My blood work came back fine, so I'm not worried about an issue right now. I think we all bounce back at different times.

I'm actually feeling pretty good. I was passing out by 8:30pm in January. Now I am able to stay up until my normal pre-pregnancy 11pm. I'm not super tired during the day anymore either.

16 wks? Try 18 and doggone tired. I think the baby is growing something fierce now and my body is getting hit with it. Some days are good, and some are bad.

I'm tired and have no trouble sleeping but It's a little better then earlier on, when I was downright fatigued and couldn't keep my eyes open after meals. I'm just trying to get enough sleep at night, which is not always possible

My fatigue is actually pretty much gone now (knock on wood). I was totally wiped out for most of the first trimester, so I'm pretty happy to have some energy now!

I can sleep about 10 hours at night and still feel completely wiped out by 1 in the afternoon. I don't remember being this tired with either of my other pregnancies. The worst nights are when I wake up at 1, can't get to sleep until 4 and have to be up for work at 6. I'm completely useless those days...

I'm still pretty tired but every so often I get a day of feeling really energized. Then I overdo it with catching up on stuff and find myself totally wiped out the next day.

In my first trimester, I generally wasn't all that tired. Then again I couldn't get up and do stuff because I was to sick.

However, the sickness has lifted and I have the energy to go out now. However, if I do get out I get SUPER tired. Whereas if I don't go out I feel like I could easily stay up till 4 am. It's so weird. I go to bed between 1-3 am and sleep for about 12 hours haha. One night I did stuff and went to bed at 9:30 I was soooooo tired.

I'm only 15weeks though.

EDIT: Oh yeah it takes me a whole day to recouperate as well. My plans went as 1 day busy, next day I do nothing, all 3 weeks of me visiting family and friends haha. They don't really understand, but it's totally necessary.

I was terribly tired my first trimester. I was also anemic, so I started taking extra iron and that helped a lot. My tiredness has lifted a good deal...I am generally fine throughout the day, but boy do I wipe out around 9pm. I go to bed at 9, and read for about 30 or 45 minutes, then it's lights out! I sleep well throughout the night, but I get up at least 2-3 times to pee.
