I'm having a soaker made for me and have some fishermans wool which I'm going to dye with koolaid. How do you wind this yarn so you can get the neat varigated pattern like LTK or KSS soakers? I want to dye the yarn before I send it out - I found instructions on how to process it - but how do you wind the yarn to get the varigated look?

Never mind, I found out how to wind the yarn - wind it around a box! Great idea. THen take it off the box and tie it in sections and then apply the dye and then wind it in a ball. So easy <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1"> Well anyways, it should be fun!
