I thought you mamas might know have some good info on this - I have been offered a job teaching in the public schools in Baltimore, MD (which I *really* wanted), but in order to do so, I have to pick up at least geography and hopefully a calculus class. I must finish them by June 1.

My local community college looked at me like I was stupid when I asked them and I did a google search, but I'm not coming up with a whole lot.

check out a local university, rather than the CC & you might have better luck.

If you're looking for specifics, I've taken Calculus classes online at both these schools:

Washington State University http://online.wsu.edu/future_students/

Bellevue Community College http://distance-ed.bcc.ctc.edu/

(I don't know where you are, but for online classes, I guess it really doesn't matter)

Check all the major universities in your area for correspondence courses. Unlike internet classes, they don't always have to line up with semester dates. You get as much or as little time as you need. You could, conceivably, do all the work in a month or two. The downside is that you have to be pretty good at reading and learning from a book.

Chapman does a 9week online session from 3/31-6/1.

Also, find universities that offer trimesters or quarters... and check out whether they offer online courses too.

MIT has free online classes -- Not sure if it gives you a real credit course, but you could check it out.

http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/web/home/home/index.htm
