I just got a cosleeper cocoon from a lady on craigslist and it is in perfect condition except her baby must have slept directly over a glade vanilla scented plug-in b/c the bed REEKS of it. The insert/pad I believe has a cover that I can take off and wash, but the actual hammock doesn't seem like something I can just toss in the washer - any ideas for getting the smell out? At this point I am thinking putting it outside in the sun with a bowl of baking soda sitting inside of it, but I'm open to any other suggestions - thanks!

Congrats on the good deal! I would suggest simply allowing the bed to sit outside in the sun. I am sure that the fresh air and sun light will do wonders for getting rid of the odor.
