Go out to get her a taco salad she has been wanting for 2 days. Then call her while you're in line to verify what she wanted. Come home with something completely different because the restaurant is out of crunchy taco salad bowls. Grrrrrr.....

Ooh, I hear ya on that one!

I have to leave the kitchen if husband is cooking because the smells from the food are nothing like the taste and I get sad and cranky and waaaahhhhhhhhh!!! I can only imagine thinking you were certainly getting just what you wanted but it was a no go... What a bummer! At least you didn't have to clean up the kitchen mess from a bum meal, huh?

I hate that! When I was pregnant with DD2 I convinced DH to spend money irresponsibly on some take out. I wanted this salad that had the most fantastic dressing (a lime based creamy one ). He goes and picks it up and doesn't check that we have everything (I'm anal about that ) and when he gets home there is NO dressing. That's all I really wanted. We were missing like half our order too. Silly things like bread that can make or break a meal. I called and complained in such a way we got two free adult meals before I was even 1/3 of the way into my rant.

How to irritate me: transfer me to the meat department when I call asking about a frozen mock meat. Then tell me they'd know more about meat, even frozen!, than the front desk despite my saying it wasn't meat. I just spent the last hour on the phone with the idiots of my state. One fella' even offered me an alternative mock meat item (bless his heart) however garden burger and turkey are NOT similiar. : My tolerance to these sort of situations has gone drastically down hill and I feel bad for one woman I talked to. I'd call and apologize but I don't remember which store it was.

LOL, this reminds me of the time DH took me out at 11pm to get a milkshake cause I had a huuuuge craving for one. We went through the drive-through and we ordered and the guy was like "Oh sorry our machine is down" DH practically squealed at the guy "Dude, you're killing me here!! I got a pregnant woman in the car with me and she wants a milkshake, now what do you suppose I do???" I think we had to go drive around till we found a place that had milkshakes lol. As bad as things irritate me I have to remember that DH is trying his absolute best. I love the guy lol.

I have made DH do that more than once (pregnant or not). There are times when a Brownie Batter Blizzard is all I want. Not some knock off or other "chocolate and vanilla set up". They aren't the same! Dh had to argue to one guy when I sat in the front seat practically bawling because 1. he had no idea what I was talking about and 2. was trying to convince me some sundae with a brownie was what I was talking about. Poor DH.

As soon as DH got home and announced he had bad news, I gave him the evil eye and sent him back out to another restaurant. Then I was not only irritated but extremely hungry. Once he finally got back and I had eaten, I immediately felt bad about causing such a stink. Poor DH. He loves me so.
