Dd is 3.5 years old and she will be going to preschool in the fall. This is at a private pre-K through 12th grade International School in the city (we live in a suburb) about 45 minutes away. It's a Spanish (or French... we're doing Spanish) immersion school. They teach 100% in Spanish from day one.

Now my question is - what sorts of things have you done to prepare your dc for school? This school is full-time. 8.00am to 3.00pm each day. I'm concerned about how dd will do being at school and commuting so much, so suddenly. I've been reading the Kissing Hand to her and we talk about school a lot, but I don't think she's quite grasped that she'll be at school every weekday, all day. In the past we've done play 'n' share one day a week. So, basically, I'm trying to think of things I can do to prepare her this summer and get her excited about school. TIA!
