I know there must be discussions on this already but I can't seem to find them. I was talking to a pregnant friend and she said she's very uncomfortable by the idea of breastfeeding. I'd like to send her some positive info about it. Anyone know where to look? thanks!

**edited to add - I found out the reason she is uncomfortable. She works with kids who were abused and some were forced to suck on women's breasts. What do you think about this?

www.kellymom.com has some great info about breastfeeding or she could check out dr. sears website. To be honest, she may never get comfortable with the thought of breastfeeding, despite how much she reads about the benefits to the baby and mom. There are still a lot of women out there who view their breasts as sexual objects and just can't get over that. I would share any positive stories you have and maybe try to get her to talk more about why she is so uncomfortable with the idea...that is, if you can have that discussion without making her feel bad. Good Luck!
