How would you Pronounce 'Lila'

I think of it as being "lie-luh" but I do know one woman IRL who spells it Lila but pronounces it "lay-luh". (I might normally expect that to be spelled "Leila"). She is Palestinian-American though and explained that this is closest to the Arabic pronunciation which she characterized as actually being sort of in between the two. I don't speak Arabic, just have her word to go on!

In Arabic it would be ليلى , and I've always heard it pronounced Layluh by Arabic speakers...but so much is different with different Arabic accents, maybe in Palestinian Arabic it's slightly different.

I love the name ليلى though...
