Anyone else experience something like this? I was voted most likely to be the first woman president. This is something else. It is not nice.

At our school (I am a teacher), they were planning on a fiesta for the seniors during which they were going to be giving out humorous senior awards for which they asked the teachers to vote in advance. Some of the awards were fine, like, "Most likely to be the president," or "Most likely to be Bill Gates," but others were very questionable: "Couple that should NOT have been," or "Most in need of a haircut," but the one that really got me was, "Most likely to be on an episode of
Cops."
I went to the teacher who was organizing it and pleaded for her PLEASE to reconsider how inappropriate some of these were, especially the last one. I also brought up how unhappy -- and angry -- the parents of a child might be at the
Cops episode "award."
To her extreme credit, she immediately struck them out. It was the end of the year, basically, and she'd been overwhelmed with the far worse ideas her student council had suggested, and she just hadn't seen it from that perspective. Good for her.
Whew.
