Just chiming in to say how HUNGRY I am too! DH thinks it's all in my head, but I know that a growling stomach is a growling stomach. And fish sounds sooooooooo good right now! Xakana, thanks for your advice, very doable and balanced.

My DH thinks that same thing, too! It makes me so mad that he thinks I'm lying about constantly needing to shove food into my mouth! LOL!

I am having endless naseau, as I have with all of my pregnancies, the difference this time? I feel like eating will take away the naseau. Each of my past pregnancies, it was all I could do to eat anything during the first four months or so. This time, I just want to eat and eat and eat. I am making myself drink water before I eat anything to make sure that I'm getting enough water and not just stuffing my face endlessly!

Hungry, check.. THIRSTY, YES! Geesh, I never thought I could drink so much water! I'm also breastfeeding, which just doubles up the water intake need. Drink, pee, drink, pee.. Fun times! :)

ETA: I'm also one of those people that eats healthy and follows my body's cues while I'm pregnant. So far I've gained nearly 50lbs with both of my previous pregnancies! Luckily breastfeeding takes it off, but man, some people just pack on EVER, SINGLE calorie when they're pregnant and some people don't.

I did, too. I'm starting out about twenty pounds over where I'd like to be (still within "normal" BMI though). But with DD, nursing took off all of my pregnancy weight (like 45 pounds) plus ten or fifteen pounds, so I'm holding on to hope..

I'm hungry too! And somehow we've run out of chocolate. Oh, the horror!!!

For those of you with heartburn issues: I had a lot of heartburn with my first and was able to calm it down by drinking a shot of apple cider vinegar. Sounds gross, but I like vinegar anyway and it really worked for me. :)

At all. I have to force food down and it never, ever tastes good. =( But at least since I'm not craving anything, I can shove all the good stuff down! But I'm a really picky eater, so I can't wait for the cravings to help me FINALLY expand my food horizon.

This is how I was with my second but this time I want to eat everything in sight. It is a good thing I was home alone while the kids were sleeping last night because I would have been at the store getting junk food I don't need. lol

I am sad about this too. I started running and eating better a couple months ago and lost 17 pounds but I have a lot more to go. Oh well. Our kids will be grown before we know it and we will have all the time in the world :)

I'm having the nausea as hunger lately and it's driving me nuts. Of course, I'm starving right now, but all I want is things like cereal, that we don't have any right now :( I'm so hungry... (I can't drive, so I'm stuck here with nothing I can stand to eat)

I go from fine to growling tummy in about 30 seconds! I have mostly just felt "unsettled" both before and after eating. I keep waiting for the nausea, but am hoping it passes me by. I teach 1st grade and there is no peace during the day if I get sick. I just don't feel great in general. But all I've wanted is simple carbs-like cereal. The thought of any vegetable makes me ill, but I keep forcing myself to have some because I know it's important. I usually really enjoy proteins too, but I guess everything changes once you get pregnant!
