Hungry???

Anyone else hungry???
I have an empty hole in my stomach that never seems to get full. I'll have some yogurt, then an hour and a half later some grapes, how about a grilled cheese? OMG I just keep eating about every 2 hours that little hole in my belly starts to get bigger and say FEED ME! And if I try to wait to eat, then the pukey feeling starts.

I go through phases. The last few days I've been avoiding food because I'm nauseated just thinking about it but I'm fine once I start eating. Today all I want to do is EAT. Had breakfast, dropped LO off at her dagmamma (day mother in English), came home, ate 2 pieces of toast with butter and jam.....an hour and a half later-repeat toast. And sad to say I could probably go for another set of toast.

My dh teases me that I want to eat so much because I'm having twins. Afaik there's only one in there but he has me terrified that I am having more than one. He finds that insanely amusing. We'll see who's laughing if we see twins on the screen when we do our ultrasound in 12 (looooong time away) weeks from now.

This is me. I've never actually gotten sick with my pregnancies, but I've felt naseaus. On Sunday, by dinnertime, I was feeling really green---it wasn't until I realized that I'd forgotten to eat lunch that I figured out why I felt so bad. The trick for me is, to eat something BEFORE the pukey feeling starts.
I've been waking up in the middle of the night to eat. I cannot ignore the hunger pangs in my tummy and finally cave to fix up a fried egg sandwich, orange slices, yogurt and graham crackers with peanut butter. Soooo hungry at night! What I really crave is watermelon but it's too early in the year...
I've been eating constantly too, but it's the best way for me to keep the headaches and nausea away. I'm often hungry at night too, getting up around 2-3am to have cereal!

You ladies can go 2 hours without eating? I'm impressed!

I'm really hungry a lot, but I get so bored of what there is to eat here and I don't feel like cooking at all. I had a wonderful supper last night that was pretty easy -- broiled wild salmon fillets with easy hollandaise sauce and steamed (frozen) broccoli. I ate my fillet plus, between finishing up the boys', another whole one, and probably 1.5 cups of broccoli. I was hungry again by the time I was done washing the dishes.

Of course, what I'm craving is all bad for me. I want a peanut butter smore -- graham crackers with pb, choc chips, and marshmallows melted in the toaster oven. I'm going through the ice cream like crazy. The A&W at the mall is calling my name... I totally splurged and ordered Chinese on Sat night. It was delicious! Burritos... nachos... pizza... poutine... egg banjos... fish in creamy sauce... spaghetti with meatballs... lamb chops... bbq steak... chicken wings...
I could just eat all day. Unless it was anything we have here, or anything I have to cook!

Too bad I can't send you a care package with a big steaming plate of poutine!

Funnily, my fave is from New York Fries.

I don't know much about Sweden, they don't have what you need to make it there?

Umm what is that?

This week I am starving to death. I will literally get stomach cramps if I don't eat enough. As opposed to last week when I had to make myself eat because I felt constantly full.

I do not remember being this hungry this early with my other kids. It scares me because I had a dream I was having twins.
: The thing is, I am not craving sweets like I did with my girls, I just want food. Oh and then you take that first bite and you are like in ecstasy.

Poutine is a heavenly yet simple concoction of fries, cheese curds, and gravy. Mmmmmm. A French-Canadian delicacy.

Now I'm *really* hungry.

Reading through the replys has made me hungry! I talk to my dh about what will be on the menu for the next couple of days, and let me tell you I enjoy nothing more right now than talking about food and the anticipation of eating it! Well its like foreplay!

I am starving! But every single thing I've eaten today has come back up, which is very very very frustrating! I've decided to go ahead and keep eating, because between bouts of puking, I do feel a little better having eaten.
I'm hungry,...but don't want to cook...
We may go broke if this keeps up...
Or I will OD on tv dinners...unhealthy I know...

Selection in grocery stores in Sweden is getting better but it is still nothing like at home. The first time dh came to Canada and we went to the Atlantic Superstore he was in awe.....didn't understand why he was so amazed until I got here.

I haven't been able to find cheese curds at my local grocery stores and I always forget when I go to the "big" grocery stores. I have made poutine with just "regular" cheese and it isn't bad but it makes me miss the real stuff even more.

Last time I was pregnant and still in Sweden I was craving a Tim Horton's chocolate dip donut so bad. Got home and hit Tim Horton's not even 5 minutes out of the airport. Of course it wasn't as good as I imagined it would be.

Hopefully I can avoid craving things from home that I just can't get here.
