During the pregnancy with my daughter my husband gained 18 Ibs during the first trimester while I gained 4! He pretty much became addicted to peanuts. I kinda thought he wanted some attention

During my other two pregnancies similar things happened: he started getting stomach troubles, got tired and let go most of his usual "go-getter" attitude.

Now he is constantly exhausted and is telling me he is convinced it is the pregnancy pheromones that makes him crave stuff and behave like a girl!

Do any of your partners experience similar things?

Mine totally does!! (I think it's called Couvade Syndrome :)) He has really vivid dreams when I'm pregnant and gains weight. He's been (partially) unemployed for about a month, and has gained a lot already. I warned him it's only going to get worse!

He also craves things. Or rather, gets lazy with his eating! He wants icecream, and taco bell (even when I tell him, I don't like mexican and am lactose intolerant! lol) He was always calling me on his way home from work asking if I wanted Subway or Wendy's (which usually now that we have a kid we eat out maybe 4-5x a year!)

Mine gets morning sickness worse than I do every time. He vomits for me. LOL!

Seriously, he was sick all weekend and then when I told him Sunday night that we were expecting, he said, "Well, that explains why I've been feeling like crap all weekend!" Ironically, he's not even in the same state right now.
