So I have been listening to Hypnobabies, but I only have the cd's and not the workbooks, so I feel a bit lost. I LOVE it, but I am wondering whether we are supposed to listen to any of these during labor or just use them to prepare.

I am looking for a really good visualization/meditation/hypnosis cd, or a combination of a few, that I can listen to during labor. There is some uncertainty as to where I will deliver, but it is likely that I will have to drive an hour to have my VBAC, and it is pretty likely that I will go fast (my first labor with my daughter, after my first emergency c-section birth with my son), was just 5 hours from start to finish...

So, I really want to have the consistency of a calming, grounding cd/mix. I feel that the meditation really works for me, and I believe that it could have a profound effect on my natural birth, so I would love any recommendations - either about how/whether to use Hypnobabies cds during labor or for other wonderful cds to use for relaxation, etc. during labor.

THANK YOU!!

Please call Hypnobabies to order the missing materials because you need them in order to really benefit. The workbook explains the correct order of the CDs, which ones are for pregnancy, which ones are for birth only, and how to practice the techniques correctly so that you can easily use them during the birth. 714 952-2229

I only listened to my Hypnobabies stuff during pregnancy, so I don't have any recommendations for other hypnosis CDs.... During my most recent birth I listened to Hypnobabies and I also had a play list of music that just makes me happy (folk rock like Cat Stevens and Simon & Garfunkel).
