I lost my father to brain cancer last October and I have been to the doctor soooo many times this year for so many little things that I have built up in my head to be cancer.<br>
Looking for support<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

That's not an uncommon reaction when we lose someone to cancer. It will likely fade on its own. But, you may want to limit those doctor visits to definitive problems because the whole medical process can exacerbate the problem. As I once heard an attending physician explain to a group of residents, "A healthy patient is one that just hasn't been worked-up sufficiently."<br><br>
