Has anyone else had an RE say you had this? My RE says I am a strong hypothalamic. This is evidenced in my low BMI and diffficulty gaining weight, having an amenorheic spell in my early 20's, ovulating early, having low P and not responding very well to Clomid (in that it didn't raise my P level as we thought it would indicating that my hypo. is very resistant). Just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation. We are upping the CLomid dose and also using prog. supp. Inject. if that doesn't work. I am told to put on weight if I can (I'm really just below avg.) and NOT to exercise.
Anyone know about this?

Thanks you two I appreciate the good wishes. This doesn't seem to be a sweeping phenomenon, although I have found a few things online that have resonated. That's funny, Calebsmom, that you mentioned olive oil. I love olive oil and use it quite liberally. : Will bust out the bread. My thyroid actually tests completely normal. Go figure. I've said it before but it bears repeating, dealing with IF is sort of like becoming a private detective for your own body, a second job of sorts. Sigh.
