DD has a cold I really don't want to drag her out of the house just for Dishwashing soap so I have the following around the house can I use any of it instead? Any ideas as I have to run it today.

Borax
Charlies Soap

vinegar

I don't know what to do, but whatever you do do, do not use regular soap.... dh did it once, and just a tiny bit and it bubbled out all over the floor.

I use baking soda and borax (1 part bs to 1 part borax), it's a very small amount (like a tablespoon) that I put in the detergent compartment. I put vinegar in the rinse agent compartment. The only thing I would caution is your dishes need to have no food specks on them because this combo does not "dissolve" food of the dishes. I've never had cleaner looking dishes.. no spots etc. I don't think I would go back to regular (bleachy smelling) detergents.

I'd probably try some of the Shaklee. I'm out of dishsoap for the sink and don't want to go to the store until the weekend. For the handwash stuff I've just been putting a few drops of H2 in a sink of hot water and scrubbing.

If your dishes are well rinsed you could just wash them with water on the sanitary cycle. It wouldn't do a great job getting food waste off but the dishes would be germ-free.

Sometimes I use baking soda and borax, about 1/4 cup of each. Then when the dishwasher starts the rinse cycle, I pour in 1/2 cup of vinegar to make sure all the residue from the powder gets rinsed clean.
