I had to leave mothering for a while because of all the guilt i felt being a student mother and now a working mother. I don't want to work away from my boobas but I have to. I am very happy that mothering is recognizing this. I again feel welcome. I am trying to get a job so that I am closer to home. Right now, I am still working at a big department store
but I will soon be working at WIC as a lactation consultant. I am really happy to be doing this but it is only part time. I guess this was more a vent than anything else. I hate leaving but it is necessary right now. okay i am done

Wow, that's cool. I'd love to do something like that. What kind of qualifications do you have to have? Are you Board Certified?

Ameen

I am going to be getting the specifics tomorrow. I know there is training in July what kind of training I am not sure and to get what again I won't know until tomorrow. It is really exciting though. If I could do that full time I would be so happy
I hope there is some kind of tuition reimbursement. we will see.

A MDC mommie as a LC at WIC, how wonderful.

You didn't think you belonged at Mothering??? How could that be?

I think you will be a blessing to many a mom and baby dyad.
