I am 10 weeks 3 days and I look 5 months pg. I show early...it was beginning to be obvious I was pg with the 1st by 12 weeks, was definitely obvious with 2nd by 12 weeks, but here I am, obviously pg, even to a stranger, at 10 weeks. I've gone from about a 30" waist to 36".

I'm afraid their might be two in there. I thought ds was twins as well, so this isn't a new feeling except it's much scarier this time.

I have my first midwife appt tomorrow, barring further problems with the car. Will she be able to discern twins? Is she going to send me for an u/s? Is this just first appt. anxiety?

Heee, I think it's fun to show so early! I don't like the frumpy in between maternity clothes or regular clothes, looking thick in the middle but not noticably pregnant, just kind of fat stage. I'm in that stage right now.

With my last pregnancy I was entirely in maternity clothes by 10 weeks & my DH constantly teased that I was having twins. I couldn't believe how giant my belly was so soon! But this time my belly has barely changed at all. . It's so weird, I'm hoping this means it's a girl in there.

Good luck at your appt! Hey there's usually at least one twin mom in each DDC, right? Maybe that'll be you!!

It's hard for me to tell if I'm showing since I lost so much weight and I'm quite chubby to begin with. I still fit in my jeans, but didn't at this point in my 1st pregnancy.

It's usually hard to find twins this early without U/S. And it takes two well-trained sets of ears with a Doppler I believe.

I did joke with someone that if I was going to be pg I might as well go ahead and *be* pg.

I guess if she suspects anything like twins or doesn't trust my dates (which I'm sure of) she'll send us for an u/s. And it'd be better to know if there were two in there as soon as possible since we'll have to make some different plans for the birth.

Well I've got a bump-I've been pointing it out to my co-workers today! However if I wasn't pointing it out-I just look frumpy and kind of chubby. I can't wait until I start showing for real.
