PLease please please send MAJOR super labor vibes my way! I am at my wits end, and only 38 weeks!
I don't care if the baby comes early, he/she's probably 10lbs by now!
I can't sleep, my kids are making my crazy, the dog is way out of control and I can't keep waddling up and down 3 flts of stairs carrying someone 100 times a day!
Food sucks, except for a ft long subway grinder loaded!

I am totally irritable and have the worse case of insomnia ever! My hips are going farther and farther apart, my bladder is about the size of a walnut, I am constipated, nauseous, have terrible heartburn all the time, and last night, I had a charlie horse in my lower back!!!!

Sadly, all my babies are at least 2 weeks late, and I'm due 4-4!

thanks for the vent.

Are we twins????

I could have written your post word for word. I'm "due" on 3/26 but have given myself a due date of 4/4 because my babies come late too (42 wks and 43wks).

is all I can say.

My house is a mess. I can't keep up with MY kids anymore. I feel like a horrible mother. I feel isolated and like I want to burrow myself into a hole and stay there until I go into labor.

Yes, food does suck. So much so that I've boycotted cooking (poor dh!). Thing is that ready made food is so processed it gets me constipated. Ugh. Plus it costs way more and is garbage compared to our normal diet.

Prune juice baby!

I will say that I'm not so desperate that I'm thinking castor oil yet. That thought will come when I'm about 41 wks and 6 1/2 days. And I'll do everything I can to avoid it but will probably drink it, make myself sick, and still NOT go into labor.

Aw, I"m sorry you're so uncomfortable!
Hang in there. You've come this far. It'll be over before you know it!
This is a first for me so I don't have any naggy little ones making me want to tear my hair out yet. I'm sure that's rough!
Hopefully all the exercise you're getting from toting your tots around will stimulate something to happen sooner
: Positive thinking

I'm feeling the same way and I'm 36 weeks tomorrow. I'm having trouble sleeping from the heartburn/muscle aches, rib pain and I now have no clothes suitable for wearing outside the house. I just tripped because I'm wearing pants with a big hole in the ankle and foot got stuck in it.

I went into labour on my due date last time and having to wait another month seems completely unacceptable at the moment.

So I'll mope with you.

I still have a month to go, but I decided today that I'm done. This is uncomfortable and painful. Last week I would have told you that I wasn't ready at all. I don't care how many more things we need to get ready for the baby, it doesn't matter anymore. I just want this baby out of my body!

to all of you. i'm only 34 weeks and sooooo not ready to have a baby right now. but i've totally been there, big time, and i know exactly how you guys are feeling right now.

any chance of getting free of the kids to do something to pamper yourself, like having a massage or getting a pedicure or having your hair cut? i had a pedicure with leg massage when i was like 39.5 weeks with DS and followed it by going to get a cup of iced coffee and sitting under a shady tree for a little while *all by myself*, and boy i felt so much better and was so much more pleasant when i got home than when i left! DH and I also went together and had dinner and saw a movie one night and that really helped too.

I hear ya!! Officially as of last night I feel the same way. For some reason (I am thinking my varicose veins down under) were so sore I couldn't get up from the floor (was sitting while bathing ds and dd) and then waddled even more once I was up. Everyone that saw me today commented that "it looked like I had dropped". I cannot even think about going to my due date at this time....hugs to you! we sooooo understand!

My MIL is supposed to come for the weekend to "help." I will have a list of stuff for her to actually help with... AND dh & I will be going on a date TO BE SURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also have a couple women in my knitting group who want to babysit so him and I can go out before baby comes so I'm going to set that up for next week (or weekend) and look forward to these little graces of respite/bonding with dh before everything gets crazy again.
So between MIL coming and getting that second date in, I actually want to *stay* pregnant for at least another week or so.

Weird, huh?

I was reading mothering.com at 2am last night and shopping for curtain panels!
I tried to sew a quilt last night, had bobbin issues and took them to a dry cleaning place and PAID for them to get sewn. hahahaa

Anyone go late with their first babe and then early or "on time" with their second? Please say yes

Oh and you guys will love this:

last night we were struggling to get our almost 2 year old to eat dinner...just let him cry, went on eating. I turn for a second and see him running at me, with a knife pointed right at my belly.....(didn't leave it far back enough). I burst into tears and then so did the poor little guy. we were all so on edge. IS IT A FULL MOON OR WHAT?

I was just looking at the sliver of the moon on Sunday and wondered when it would be full again... so that maybe maybe this baby would come out! I'm 35w4d and torn between being ready to go and not. I mean, I still want to enjoy my blessingway, belly cast, maternity portraits and henna belly, which are all coming up in the next two weeks!

This morning in the shower I talked to the baby. Since all of my "busy" stuff will be done by the end of March, I gave it permission to come anytime after April 1. Hopefully, it heard and will oblige early in the month.

I'm not ready to have this baby (33 weeks) but maybe, please, I could just reach in there somehow and get the feet out of my f-ing ribs? Now it's my left side. Two nights ago I got kicked so hard on the right side that the bone-against-bone made an audible popping noise and I was sore there for two days and now apparently I'm getting worked over on the other side. I don't remember dd in my ribs this much. This kid's going to be 25 inches long at birth and 6 and a half feet tall when he's all grown up, I just know it.

I am definitely going to take a moon bath that night. I guess it was a new moon then, which often brings out some kind of chaotic energy.

Hang in there ladies!
