I know not many of you know me - I haven't been around much. I really want to jump in and join you all with all the talk but I've been so nauseous, tired, and really .... ugghhh that I've barely been able to keep up with anything.
DH has been a wonderful help though. He may complain about doing dishes and the house being a mess but he does what he can to help me.
I am 11 weeks. Going to the dr on Thursday for my first "real" appt. New practice so I'm a little anxious to see what happens. DH can't go with me this time.
His schedule changed at work this month and I can't change my appt. This will be the first one he's missed - he went to all the ones w/ DS.

Anyone else getting sick when overheated? As long as I'm calm and cool, I'm ok. But as soon as I do anything and get overheated, I either get sick or feel nauseous. Even a warm/cool shower last night had me running for the bathroom a little later.
Another ? - tmi - anyone else peeing neon yellow?

I hope you all are doing better than me. I try to keep up at least reading the threads but I'm only on at work and don't have as much energy as I'd like.

Thanks all. Just wanted someone to know I'm still here.

Glad that you are feeling well enough to check in! I hope that the sickness passes you soon and that you can just enjoy being pregnant.

My pee is also bright yellow. It is an old wives' tale that it is a sign that you are having a boy. But, I think it probably means we are not drinking enough water!

Are you taking prenatals? Bright yellow pee can be the result of vitamins. Dark yellow would be dehydration.

I've also been very sick. I've had to have IVs and medication. It has made me sad because I really wanted a UP and drug free, but it got to the point where I was really bad. I lost 16 pounds pretty fast. I'm also 11 weeks, and I think I'm starting to feel a bit better.

My husband has also been wonderful. In fact, he arranged to work from home this week so he could help with the girls, and though it is not in our best budget interest, I think we've decided to hire someone to clean a couple times....just til I get better....to save our sanity.

I still have no energy...I can't wait til that comes back!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that you are not alone, and I keep hoping 12-14 weeks will be the turning point!

Glad you were able to check in. I'm sorry that you are feeling so bad. I hope it lifts for you soon. I don't have bad m/s this time, but I do feel much worse if I get hot. I sympathize with you about not having dh come to an appt. My dh only missed one appt towards the end with dd. He is out of town right now and will miss my appt on Thursday. He hasn't heard the heartbeat yet, so it makes me sad.

I know the Neon Pee
of mine is caused by PreNatals... I'm sorry you are feeling so ill, I hope you feel better soon. You can just jump on in whenever you have time, and are feeling well.
We won;t forget about you

I second, or third the thought that your pee is neon due to prenatals. And I definitely feel sicker when it's hot out and I am moving around trying to accomplish something. That's why I haven't accomplished much lately, LOL! Try to take it easy in the heat, though, and drink lots and lots of water. We'll be here when you start to feel better!

bright yellow pee is the B vitamins in the prenatals. they are water soulable and so are gotten rid of in the pee.

i felt better around week 12, but then got that horrendous stomach virus and spent all of last week exhausted with a pissed off digestive system. today is the first day i am feeling "normal" again. my energy lagged a bit this AM, but i had some royal jelly and a big glass of water and feel better.

if you are really tired all the time you may be chronically dehydrated. try drinking more water. i keep track of mine and try to drink 2 quarts a day. sometimes it's in the form of iced tea that i make or club soda mixed with a bit of juice just so i can get it all down.

Thank you all so much. You've lifted this mama's day!
: It's so nice to not be forgotten!

I am taking prenatals - Rainbow Light. I didn't have neon pee w/ DS but I was taking a different prenatal. Good to know it's nothing serious.
I am drinking more water now - at first it made me sick too.
And that's all I drink besides occassional milk. Have never drank anything else.
Can't wait till all this heats passes. Even walking to the car this morning wiped me out.

Hello, good to see you!

I get VERY SICK AND MISERABLE with the heat!!! Thank goodness we have A/C because I stay inside in it all the time. To me, this summer heat is worse than winter, I can't even go out and enjoy the weather because I just can't tolerate it. It doesn't matter how much water I drink... I was out in it this weekend and paid dearly the next day... spent 5 hours of the afternoon in bed.
I'm almost 14 weeks so just ready for this miserableness to end!

I take Rainbow Lights also & that is how I remember to take my vitamin
:
If my pee is bright yellow = yes or reg. color = nope, I forgot

My dog got out of our back yard & I had to return her...being out in the heat made me feel yucky!!
I totally understand!
