I was already so unhappy to be pregnant. Things just took a horrendous turn for the worse.

Obviously milk supply dwindles for many during pregnancy. I must still have some, I still feel fullness occasionally. So I'm sad about that.

Tonight, my kidlet went to the little bed. She's been sick for weeks and had an accident in the big bed - while I was changing the sheets and mattress pad, she went to the little bed all on her own and fell asleep.

That and now I'm guessing she's nightweaned herself.

I am so hating this pregnancy. I've seen the baby on the u/s, I've heard the h/b on the doppler - but honestly I just cannot seem to want or love the new baby. I feel like it's ruined my happy home.

I am so going to miss that closeness and nursing her at night.

I am so unhappy. I so didn't want to get pregnant and it seems like everything has just taken off at lightspeed this evening. I can't sleep and I can't stop crying. DH is sound asleep of course. He's always loved co-sleeping and nursing.

Thanks for listening. :

I am sorry, hon. There's much sadness to be dealt with over weaning... my son is doing it too.

I guess I don't have advice. Just a hug and a wish that you feel better.

Well, after an hour, she woke up looking for someone to snuggle in her little bed and was rolling around and was crying. So we told her she could come to the big bed if she wanted to and she trotted right back and nursed three or four more times during the night.

So I'm guessing it was just a fluke. She had crapped her panties (she has had diahrrea for 8 days) and I had cleaned her up, but she must've been so tired she was just looking for anywhere to crash.

I have the 20 week u/s next week so hopefully I can adjust some more to this whole thing.

DH was really pro getting pregnant when Annabelle turned one in June, I got pregnant in January. So I guess I'm just taking a really long time to adjust.

She just napped with me and has already nursed 3 times today (her normal nursing pattern nowadays) so I'm feeling okay.

I hate to say it, but my little baby dog went blind a couple weeks ago, we had to put our bird to sleep a week after that and I think I'm just in a whirlwhind adjusting to *every*thing.

Ya know? Thanks for the hugs and thanks for listening. Sometimes pregnancy is really hard - especially how it makes your emotions so crazy.

I am sorry that you are going through so much. There are some big changes in my life right now, and I find I can barely adjust myself. : Good luck! It sounds like things turned around.

My dd had diarrhea for 5 days, also having to change panties. Hope she's better soon. Today was dd's first day of no diarrhea & no throwing up.

Sick kids are no fun! Both my dds had stomach flu over the weekend. I did a LOT of laundry... which I really need to take in off the line soon.

Hope little one feels better soon.
