Good for you that you were able to last this long without them!

Are you feeling really comfy? I know that after holding out in regular clothes for a while, putting on maternity pants feels like one big sigh of relief. Ahhhhhhh...

good for you! Its super official now, isnt it!

As for me- I am feeling extra picky about clothes this time around...dont know what it is but I just cannot bear to be uncomfortable for any length of time, at all. Maybe because its pregnancy #4 and I feel I am already really feeling the discomforts...wow the other day I got a shooting back pain-the kind I would only have in other pregnancies like, way after 30 weeks...

So anyway, I tried putting on some maternity jeans that I had saved from last time and-no way. I could NOT stand the belly panel feeling! So a few weeks ago I bought a pair of incredibly lightweight cotton jeans that have the "boyfriend fit"- I just got them in six sizes bigger than what I normally wear , and a pair of identical fabric shorts, also huge. Then I bought a nice but cheap belt since the pants and shorts are still too big...I wear them slung low, way below my belly and its the best.feeling.ever.

That's pretty good! I retired my regular pants at about 6 weeks. Isn't the stretchy elastic waist sheer bliss?

I switched about 3 weeks ago, because my regular pants were giving me heartburn. Love the stretchy waist!

I'm in that place (at 12w4d) where neither regular pants or maternity pants feel right. The maternity pants from my last pregnancy feel too big - they just fall under my belly. But the thighs are a little tight And my regular pants just slide down ALL. THE. TIME.

So I've been living in my previously-a-little-too-big yoga capris. I just bought some nicer capris for work, though. Can't wear the yoga pants there!

Strangly, I moved to maternity tops way before the pants got to be a problem. I think I just liked how long they are.

I'm jealous! My regular jeans still fit - well, pretty well. I have only found one pair of maternity pants so far and did NOT like their fit. I am pretty sure I bought some better ones last time around - I just need to find them! I did put on a maternity top today 'cause it's one of those that really works anytime and is comfy. In fact, I've had it for almost 8 years!

most of my regular pants are somewhat low rise so they seem to still fit under my belly...but i am wearing maternity style tops or things that are billowy and longer. any of my "normal waisted" pants are out of the question. the button digs in by the end of the day! ugh!
at this point my maternity pants are all still too big and feel like they are gonna fall down.
this week is the first week i've feel like i have really popped...and folks are beginning to notice - which is perfect because at 14 weeks we are opening the flood gates and beginning to spread the news.

I've been having a HUGE maternity clothes problem---nothing was fitting. For some reason even at 38 weeks my maternity pants all seem to fall down (I think I have basically no butt, and it doesn't get bigger with pregnancy). So I wore a bella band throughout the entirety of both pregnancies.

THIS TIME, I got smarter. I took the non-working bands off of 3 pairs of maternity pants, sewed on the Bella Band, and VOILA! Pants that don't show my butt crack!

I've been wearing my jeans with a hair band through the buttonhole, so I didn't have to button them. Added some nice extra stretch. This is definitely nice for during my commute. But the mat jeans still don't fit right... I guess I need more of a belly to hold them up, or my thighs are just bigger than last time! I remember LOVING them and wore them for a while postbirth too

I LOVE not having to undo/redo the pants to pee, though! Especially since I pee nonstop.

ETA: I dreamed last night I wore my yoga sweats to work... but then my principal was there to evaluate me and they had like worn out parts suddenly... eep! I can't wait for late June when I can wear whatever the heck I want! Thank goodness my jeans have the blue panel-- some are made now with only a skin tone panel-- which would make it look like I was half naked b/c my shirts ride up sometimes, or you can see through my mat shirts (which I HAVE been wearing for some time, b/c my reg ones were riding up too high a good month or more ago!)

I've been wearing my mat. jeans for at least 6 weeks now! Partially because I lost 20lbs prior to pregnancy and my comfy jeans were already falling off my behind and the size smaller was still uncomfortably snug with indigestion.

Oh boy. I am going to have to find my maternity jeans. Put on a freahly washed pair if jeans (had been in yoga pants all day), and they are so tight! I'm trying to drive around on errands and can barely stand to sit up straight. Sigh. I suppose it is truly good news, though! Something really is happening in there!
