are you all that are on clomid, TTC while on your AF? im soooo new to this TTC thing, i just want to make sure i do it right. if this is the case, i can FORGET it, bc my DH isnt going for that!
My doc instructed us to start bedding down on cycle day 10, AF is well overwith by then. I think it depends on what your specific problem is. I'm on clomid because my luteal phase tends to be too short.
Every situation is different and personal. Usually most of the people start with clomid, I did it too, but it doesn't work for me.... in our situation the tamoxifen work better, finally I got pregnant naturally. I know some people that got pregnant with clomid in their 1st and 2nd chance, but every person is individual, but clomid is the most basic one, they need to start with it, because they need to know how your body answer with the medicines. I wish it not take 2 long for you. Good luck
You usually take clomid on day 3-7 or 5-9 of your cycle, when you would still be having AF. However, you don't ovulate until approx. a week after your last pill, so being intimate during AF while taking clomid most likely wouldn't be the proper timing. You would want to start a few days after your last pill, and AF should be done by then.
Hey everyone my name is Sarah and have been ttc for a year. Finally got my prescription for clomid in hand and am super excited and petrified at the same time. I was wondering if i understood correctly that after my last pill its usally 5-10 days till i hit O time is that right?? So i should be having sex basically all those days??
Welcome Oceangirly! Yup, don't start "baby-making sex" (that's what my DH and I call it) until after you finish your last Clomid pill...unless that is your kind of thing. Hahaha.
